Course Description

Lesson 1: GUnit

This course is for technical staff including developers and QA automation engineers interested in learning GUnit.

The GUnit lesson provides an overview of GUnit and step-by-step instructions on how to write a unit test. The lesson also covers how to execute GUnit tests in Studio and how to create and execute test suites. The GUnit lesson offers an instructional video on creating and executing tests and test suites to enhance the learning experience.

 

Lesson 2: GT: API

This course is for technical staff including developers and QA automation engineers interested in learning GT: API.

The GT: API lesson provides a description of GT: API, its features, and capabilities for creating automated unit and end-to-end behavior tests. The GT: API lesson also offers multiple instructional videos, as well as an exercise to reinforce the content and to enhance the learning experience.

 

Lesson 3: GT: UI

This course is for technical staff including developers and QA automation engineers interested in learning GT: UI.

The GT: UI lesson provides description of GT: UI, its features, and capabilities for creating automated user interface tests. The GT: UI lesson also offers multiple instructional videos, as well as an exercise to reinforce the content and to enhance the learning experience.

Objectives

After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Write end-to-end behavior tests using GT: API

Lesson 3: GT: UI

  • Describe key GT: UI features and its features
  • Install and set up GT: UI
  • Generate page objects using Ignite
  • Write user interface tests using the GT: UI
  • Run GT: UI automated tests
  • Run reports

 

Prerequisites

To achieve the course objectives, each student should have taken the following courses:

  • Behavior-Driven Development (Required)
  • Quality Analyst Basics (Required)
  • InsuranceSuite Development Fundamentals (Recommended)
